homefriday community affected by Newcastle flooding

Members of the homefriday community have been affected by flash flooding in the Newcastle and Hunter areas. In at least one instance a family was forced to relocate after flooding through their house and garage and others have been caught up in the turmoil in the region.

Our thoughts are with everyone who has been impacted by this and we would like to hear any way we can contribute to the relief effort.

St Vincent de Paul says that donations of money are best at present, as gifts of food and clothing are logistically more difficult to process and deliver to those that need help.
